Associate Attorney – Municipal Law

McKinney Law Firm seeking an associate attorney to provide legal services encompassing a wide range of municipal law issues. Duties include, but are not limited to, analyzing legal issues and communicating legal advice to the firm’s clients, advising on land use and development regulations, drafting municipal ordinances and resolutions, contract negotiation and drafting, advising on purchasing compliance, responding to open records requests/open meeting compliance, facilitating the City Council agenda process, municipal court prosecutions, and eminent domain matters. Applicants should have a broad knowledge of the issues faced by Texas municipalities, and demonstrate a commitment to serve the public. Doctor of Jurisprudence from an accredited law school. Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in Texas. Must have 2-3 years of municipal law experience.
