Esteemed law firm in Dallas is seeking an appellate Paralegal/Office Manager. Qualified candidates must have at least 8+ years of law firm experience as a paralegal and have solid appellate experience.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • File organization, e-filing, managing a heavy caseload
  • Detailed preparation of legal documents and legal research
  • Prepare appellate briefs and motions, cite checking
  • Schedule meetings and follow up, calendaring, responding and managing emails, answering incoming calls, filing, copying
  • Ability to plan and organize the day to meet attorney’s needs


  • Candidate must work well independently and be very organized and efficient
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently
  • Ability to proofread for grammatical, typographical and/or spelling errors
  • Ability to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing), grasp information quickly, make sound decisions, and possess strong technological skills

Software Knowledge:

  • Proficient in MS Office, WestLaw and other software
